This years Late Night Shopping in biggar is Friday 28th November. Over the last few years the high street has been buzzing and most shops offering discounts or samples. We have joined them and offered various tasters. This year rather than a glass of mulled wine on arrival we are going to try something different. Our lips are sealed and are excited to see how well it goes down. Diners will also be offered complimentary poppadoms with spiced onions and our unique plum,mango and cranberry chutney.

Just an update regarding the ‘henna painting’ that was held on the biggar day out. Every year the family gets together and the girls offer their henna painting skills. What started of as a small fun get together is now a popular event. This year 77 hands/arms were covered with various designs, some brought their own while most picked out the ones on offer. We are very delighted to inform you that the money raised will be donated to charity as it has been the last few years. This years total was a record £404.77 we would like to thank everyone who helped us reach this total with there contribution.
We are delighted to announce that the Trials for our gluten free peshwari nan bread have been a success. We can now offer cealics with a peshwari nan along with with plain, garlic or garlic and coriander nan bread. We can confidently provide those who are wheat intolerant with 84% of items that are on our menu. Please give us advance notice to ensure availability and quality. #havingyourgfnanandeatingittoo
We are pleased to announce that we are a finalist as the Best Indian Restaurant in Scotland 2014. This is the second year in a row we made the finals and are very happy that we managed this. In Scotland there are over 500 indian restaurants and being in the top 1% is an achievement alone. We would also like to thank everyone who nominated, supported and helped achieve this remarkable achievement.
